• 06:26 i'm awake already but not out of bed yet. gotta get ready for today's convention #
• 11:23 still at the business mtg of the Lions Convention. made a report for the Eye Bank--this year i was the only one to report clubs' donations #
• 11:25 i.e. donations to the Eye Bank from the 7 zones of Dist 13-J, none of the other zone reps reported their clubs' donations #
• 11:26 we had a contested election for 1st Vice Dist Governor #
• 11:27 now elections are over, we've got Gov, 1st & 2nd Vice elected #
• 11:32 biz mtg over, 15 minutes till lunch banquet #
• 13:44 lunch was good, now we're sitting thru an interminable number of awards presentations #
• 13:56 nope, so far i haven't got an award #
• 16:09 ran home to bathe and change clothes, now i'm back in time for a conference w/international officers #
• 17:06 nothing to do but shmooze until the banquet at 6p #
• 17:08 just heard a presentation fron Honor Flight, an org that flies WW2 vets to the WW2 memorial for free #
• 19:32 time for the keynote speaker, PID Dana Biggs. i'm still eating pie #

• 20:03 snuck out during further awards presentations for a smokes #
• 20:08 before dinner, part of the opening ceremony was a group sing of god bless america. i declined to participate #
• 22:28 convention ended around 920p, i hung around for a little while, then went home at 10p #
